When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for our members to get involved. Your help is needed and there are opportunities for all levels of time commitment!

2. Complete the BISD Volunteer Application process online.  (All volunteers are required to do a background check before working with students.)

Working Parents!!!! 

We know a lot of this happens during the day while you are at work, but never fear! We have activities that may still work WITH your busy schedule!  Some tasks can be done at home or during after school sporting events. Please sign up for the committees that you find interesting so that you can be notified when we need help.

Our Current Committees:

Blessings in a Backpack - This group is outside of our actual school, but we do like to give them a list of people interested in helping each year. You would help package food bags and deliver them to the counselors to be handed out to our students in need.

Fun(d) Food Days - Prepare meal deals and hand out to the students at our Cane's/Chick-fil-A Days. 

Fundraising - Help contact business sponsors and set up dine outs. 

Library - Check books in and out, reshelf returned books, and assist the librarian in the BMSS library.

Merchandise/Spirit Wear - Package and deliver spirit wear orders and sell spirit wear at sporting events and prep day.

Staff Appreciation - We do something for our staff almost every month of the school year. Some events are full blown luncheons while others may just be bringing in a small treat for all staff. We always need help with food donations, serving lunches, decorating, and these types of activities.

Teacher Spotlight - Students vote on their favorite teachers each month and we coordinate a gift and presentation to honor the winning teachers.
