Welcome to BMSS PTO!

BMSS PTO strives to enrich the educational environment at Boerne Middle School South by centering on a cooperative partnership of parents, teachers, administration and the community to enhance communication, augment classroom materials and boost social activities.

Boerne ISD is a fast-growing school district and so is BMSS! Increased demands on students and teachers, combined with a tight district budget, make our volunteers and our members' donations more crucial than ever.

VP Corporate Sponsorship: Connect with businesses in the community to negotiate sponsor agreements and work with local establishments to set-up cash back nights. A lot of work is done over the summer with follow-up and fulfilment during the year.

VP Parent Involvement & Communication: Coordinate volunteers for various school needs, communicate fundraising efforts and other PTO sponsored activities to parents; including a newsletter, social media, website maintenance. A lot of work is done remotely.

Co-VP Merchandise: Coordinate the creating, ordering, and delivery of spirit material (shirts, yard signs, etc.). A lot of work is done over the summer for back-to-school purposes; smaller orders are organized throughout the school year.

Co-VP Fun Food Days: Organize the ordering and execution of Fun(d) Food Days, approximately 3-4 times per year. Coordinate volunteers and donations and establish online ordering. Most work is done two weeks prior to each event.

Co-VP Staff Appreciation: Organize appreciation events for BMSS staff. Some months have simple events whereas others are more involved. Most work is done monthly on campus during school hours.
